FTBOE is seeking qualified candidates for Middle School Kitchen Manager.
Under direction - is responsible for the management of a large cafeteria or several small cafeterias.
Job functions
Planning, directing, assessing, implementing, and evaluating the breakfast and lunch program in the kitchen(s) in order to meet the nutritional needs of the student population.
Duties
Food production and procurement - ordering, receiving, storage, preparation, serving, and clean-up of daily menu items. Preparing all record-keeping including food production worksheets, daily reports, bank deposits, and inventory. Familiarity with computerized POS systems for meal acountability and account balances.
Staff management - coordinates staff schedule and provides training; instructs employees in the proper procedures of sanitation, safety, and presentation
Customer service - respond to student and parent inquiries and maintain standards of service
Ten month position; minimum hours 6.5 per day max 8.0 per day
Must be ServSafe Certified
Must have minimum 5 years' experience with NSLP and SBP |
